In 1997 Slinky was launched at the Opera House nightclub in Bournemouth. In the early 2000s era of Superclubs, Slinky became known as one of the best club nights in the country, attracting some of the biggest DJ's in the world such as Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto and Paul van Dyk.
